Where great ideas, sharp minds, and meaningful connections come together

Members of Undervalued-Shares regularly meet for "Best Ideas" dinners – small, high-quality gatherings that combine conversation, fun, and investment insight.

Each evening follows a simple, proven format:

  • Private dining room with 12-16 participants.
  • Informal drinks and mingling to start.
  • Optional, informal investment idea pitches.

The atmosphere is relaxed, social, and open – as much about connecting with people as sharing ideas.

The experience

These dinners have already taken place in London, New York, Washington DC, Austin, San Francisco, Toronto, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin, Guernsey, and Hong Kong.

It's a chance to meet me in person and connect with like-minded investors in your area. Participants leave with new friends, professional contacts, and fresh investment ideas.

To make the experience work well for everyone:

  • Attendees receive a one-line CV of everyone in advance.
  • I facilitate introductions during the evening.
  • Contact details are shared afterwards (with permission).

The cost is split among participants, with tax-deductible invoices provided.

Sharing ideas (optional)

If you present an idea, you can also submit a short written summary afterwards (email, PowerPoint or similar).

These summaries are shared with all Undervalued-Shares.com Members in a dedicated section of the website. Participation is entirely optional: if you prefer to keep it to a 2-3 minute verbal pitch at the dinner, that's absolutely fine.

For those who do contribute, this is also a way to:

  • Test your thesis.
  • Share your thinking with a wider audience.
  • Promote your fund or Substack.
  • Build your network further.

You can also include your contact details so other Members can follow up directly.

When: Drinks at 6.30pm and dinner from 7pm.

Cost: GBP 120 per head (= room rental, food, drinks).

No, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds.

Will you accommodate dietary requirements?

Yes, restaurants cater to all dietary requirements.

How can I order my food?

Food pre-orders are coordinated in advance; if you miss the pre-order deadline, you'll need to arrange directly with the restaurant. (Ordering on the evening is not an option.)

Can I bring someone along?

Yes, you're welcome to also book a space for a "+1" (friend, colleague, or fellow investor).
