A bid waiting to happen

25 August 2023

Attentive Undervalued-Shares.com readers have come across this company before: it was briefly referred to as a potential takeover target in a 2022 Weekly Dispatch.

Lo and behold, shortly thereafter, events got into motion, and the company was indeed for sale (if only semi-officially).

However, this was always going to be a drawn-out process. I waited with this in-depth report until matters had settled down, and the news cycle had moved on. The stock is currently going through a period of weakness again, even though it looks like the situation will culminate in a bid before too long now. The current mini sell-off allows investors to pick up stock at an attractive price.

On the same level, one of the key shareholders of this company has recently upped their stake. They now hold a very large position relative to their overall portfolio – speak of a conviction play!

This opportunity is reserved for Undervalued-Shares.com Members, which is why I am not giving away any more details.

This small-cap has 50-100% upside in case of a going-private bid, and at least just as much upside if no bid materialised. How is that possible?
