Investor trip to Poland – last spaces!

Investor trip to Poland – last spaces!
21 August 2020

If you ever wanted to learn more about Poland (and not just from an investing angle!), here's your chance.

Discover this up-and-coming European destination for equity investments!

From 16-19 September, I'll be leading a group of readers to Warsaw and Krakow to get a deeper understanding of the Polish market, look at several promising companies, and enjoy some local experiences as well as networking with likeminded individuals.

24 participants are already confirmed, and I've got space for an additional 9 readers.

Participants can look forward to the following:

  • Presentations by about 15 publicly-listed companies, including GPW (Warsaw Stock Exchange), Polski Bank Komórek Macierzystych (PBKM), 11 bit studios, LiveChat, Brand24, and Synektik. The companies are presented to us by two know-how leaders for the Polish market, East Value Research and IPOPEMA Securities, whose staff will also be there for us to speak to.
  • An interactive session about private equity in Poland, by Movens Capital and their charismatic speaker, Maciej Kraus.
  • Culinary highlights of Warsaw, a choice of several tourist sites, and an optional day trip to Krakow.
  • Meeting other fund managers and private investors (my events have a track record of getting people together who end up as business partners or friends). We are also joined by Andreas Männicke and Olgierd Bagniewski of East Stock Informationsdienste (ESI), two of the pioneers of investing in Eastern Europe.

The event's official language is English, but around 50% of the participants will be from the DACH region. We will run the event in a COVID-19-compliant format at the Raffles Europejski Hotel and other locations.

For further details, visit the event website or download the brochure (PDF – 7.8MB). If you haven't already, I recommend you read my 3-part series on Investing in Poland.

Bookings will close on Monday, 24 August 2020 – final deadline!

I'd love to welcome you onboard my investor trip.

To confirm your attendance, simply drop me an email by this coming Monday, 24 August (the same holds true, of course, if you've got any other questions – don't forget, I do reply to every single email).

P.S.: Today's Weekly Dispatch is slightly different than usual. Because of the peak summer holiday period and to spend a bit of time thinking through a potential book idea, I am treating myself to a rare break from my weekly publishing cycle.

Extra research report out now – for Lifetime Members only

I've just dug out another small-cap investment opportunity.

My latest investigate report reveals an undervalued tech company with blue-sky potential. If the plan works out, the company in question will become a money printing machine for its shareholders. It simply has tremendous economies of scale – as tech does!

(NB: If the plan fails to materialise, then the existing business of the company should still yield investors a profit. Limited downside, huge upside – my favourite combination.)

The report is one of four extra research reports per year that are only shared with my most dedicated readers: Undervalued-Shares.com Lifetime Members. Because these stocks are thinly traded, I need to limit them to a smaller number of readers.

Lifetime Members enjoy all the benefits of Annual Members (my 10 best investment ideas every year, regular report updates, email alerts etc.), plus a couple of extras.

If you, too, would like to access this small-cap investment opportunity (as well as all upcoming ones), I recommend you sign up now.

The company's CEO and COO have been given a strong financial incentive to at least double the share price by mid-2026. They are likely to succeed.

This small-cap has 50-100% upside in case of a going-private bid, and at least just as much upside if no bid materialised. How is that possible?
